How quickly can we get on the schedule?
There is a high demand in this area and at times in the past we have been booked into the next season for our hardscape projects. Through hiring and training a professional crew this past season we have been able to complete projects even faster. Our goal is to give you an accurate timeline for your project before you sign a contract.
How expensive will my project be?
That depends of course on many factors. Some of the cost is a fixed rate based on local suppliers and labor. There are many options and styles of pavers, however, that fall along a spectrum of prices. When you receive a call back to discuss a quote be sure to mention your budget as we can recommend certain paver styles depending on your budget and the style you have in mind.
What does the process look like when I first make a call to inquire about retaining services?
If our crew is working in the field you may reach our voicemail. Take heart, we do check these and we do respond. Please leave any important details and we will return your call as quickly as possible. At that time we will discuss how promptly we are able to get you on the schedule for a quote. We will be coming to your home to review all details with you for the quote. If you have any pictures in mind or something you saw online be sure to have that ready to show. We will be taking measurements and photos. Once back in the office your vision will be created into a design which we will provide to you with an anticipated start date and a final cost to submit to you for approval. After approval you will be added to the schedule.
Does your company still come if it's raining?
Maybe. There are certain parts of the project that can be done in rain and even in the fall as the snow starts to fly. Other important steps must be done on dry days. The amount of rain each season greatly affects the schedule as we strive to be at your house on time and work our schedule with a cushion to try to anticipate weather. Once you are a client we will communicate changes to you if needed.
Are quotes free?
Yes. We do not charge for quotes. We also recommend that you contact other companies as well and make the best decision for your unique needs.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are an LLC legally operating in Michigan. If you have further questions we are happy to answer them.
How do I know you will show up? We hired someone before and they took the money and didn't do the work, will you do that?
We will show up and we will do your project completely. We own our equipment and our employees are prompt and punctual. We are aware that other companies in the area have done this and on behalf of all reputable hardscape companies across the nation, we are sorry to hear about your experience. Our past client's testimonials speak for themselves.
Do I pay all upfront or at the end of the project?
We will work this all out with you before we begin your job. Hydroseeding is paid for in a one time payment and your details will be given to you when you approve the job. Landscaping may be a one time payment, half down before and half down after, or a monthly schedule if long term maintenance. Hardscape projects typically will be half down when we begin and half at completion. The only thing to note regarding these specific projects is that we can, but typically do not handle your materials. We ask that after everything is agreed upon that you go to our local supplier and pay your bill for the pavers. You will pay us directly for labor only.
How much work is hydroseeding for the homeowner?
Well if it rains, very little work for you. After your seed has been sprayed onto your lawn you will need to water it. That's it. We will provide you with all of the details and answer any questions that you have ahead of time.
Are you seeing price increases on materials?
Yes. While we work with you to design your project we will also work closely with our local suppliers to keep you updated on changes or anticipated concerns. Specifically regarding materials for Hydroseeding we are seeing price jumps. We have only raised prices when they have been raised on us. As far as hardscape projects go we have recommended in the past that clients go ahead and order supplies once the contract is signed. That may mean that your scheduled start day is out a ways, but this will guarantee that your materials will be delivered to our local supplier and the cost will not raise in the meantime. Essentially locking in your paver price.
